Portfolio Trader: Assign Initial Market Position to Strategy = Show dialog window only if broker different from chart position

Hello,

The behaviour is not reproduced on our end. If there’s a position open for a symbol used in the portfolio, the Assign Initial Market Position to Strategy menu (set to "Show dialog window only if market position on chart is different from broker") appears for that symbol as expected when auto trading is enabled.

Please send us (to our support email or here) a video demonstrating that there’s an open position in the Order and Position Tracker → Open Positions tab, but the Assign Initial Market Position to Strategy menu does not appear when you start auto trading prompting you to assign that position.

Before starting auto trading in the portfolio please demonstrate that the strategy there is set to the same account as the position is open at: right-click the strategy → Show Properties → Auto trading tab → Select Broker Plug-in section → click the gear icon.

Also, please send us logs via the main MultiCharts window → Help → Feedback. In the Feedback window select the following options: Attach a screenshot; Attach log files…; Snapshot of the current MC setup; Upload collected data to Help Desk; uncheck other options and click Send.
