Invalid value in field # 6035

Postby SP » 14 Jun 2023

If I open a saved workspace that contains the @NQ as a Custom Future as a chart and the MNQH3 as a DOM, I always get the following error message :

Error Interactive Brokers Invalid value in field # 6035
Error Interactive Brokers Expired cache for symbol @NQ. Remove and re-add the symbol mapping for this symbol.
Error Interactive Brokers Invalid value in field # 6035

The DOM also always has gaps. Only when I also press "Broker Profiles - > Disconnect Interactive Brokers" and then go back to "Connect" the DOM is complete again.

I have several times removed and re-added the symbol mapping for @NQ, but the error message always reappears the next day.

Hello SP,

Please make sure you map @NQ to the front-month contract (NQU3) to avoid the message.
If it doesn’t help, please clear the IB cache as described here.

As for the DOM gaps, could you please attach a screenshot demonstrating it?

Some levels are empty compared to the IB DOM. This actually only happens with the NQ and the MNQ Futures. It is also delayed by a few miliseconds to the IB DOM.

I only remember that about 10-12 years ago in a remote session with support we had once changed the update speed of the Multicharts DOM in the registry.

By default MC added always QBALGO to the Exchange field. After remowing it, the error message is gone. Thanks.

Hello SP,

Please enable the extended DOM logging by installing the updater:
  1. Download the updater here
  2. When downloaded, right-click the archive -> Properties -> check Unblock at the bottom of the window (please do not skip this step to avoid installation issues)
  3. Then follow this guide to install the updater
After it’s installed, start MultiCharts and plot one DOM window only. When the behaviour is reproduced, please send us a report via the main MultiCharts window -> Help -> Feedback.

In the Feedback window select the following options:
Attach a screenshot; (please make sure the issue and your PC time are visible)
Attach log files…;
Snapshot of the current MC setup;
Open workspaces…;
Upload collected data to Help Desk;
uncheck other options and click Send.
