Data Window width is saved in the Windows registry.  Once you change it manually it will stay the same until you change it again regardless of the workspace that you use.

Please describe the behavior that you would like to be implemented.

Configuration is obviously not saved for me as I need to to modify the width every time I first open my workspace. Yes it is true that it will stay the same once I set it up.
I would like to have an automatic Data Window widt based on # of characters to be displayed. This could be selectable as an option
