According to the
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... _Processes
Multichart processes should be shut down automatically after all processes containing UI are closed. This has never worked for me (not even once) and I have to kill the processes automatically each time.
Using windows 8.1

chosenek, GTrader,
What version and build number of MultiCharts you are using (Help -> About MultiCharts)?
Which exact processes are not finished after you close all MultiCharts applications?
Do you have a scanner window linked to a chart?

Re: Multichart processes are never shut down
Yes,
Thats generally how all my workspaces are setup. A scanner window with all my securities I'm following and a series of charts linked to it.
The processes go away after a while (20 m) or so.
I also use TS and IQFeed as my datasource providers.

Re: Multichart processes are never shut down
chosenek,
Please do the following when the processes are not finished automatically:
Go to Start->All programs->MultiCharts NET->LogsCollector.
The tool will collect the logs, create dump files, zip them and upload to our FTP.
Please let me know when you upload the dumps and I will forward it to our engineers for analysis.
If the file cannot be uploaded automatically please manually upload it to any file sharing hosting and send us the download link to support@multicharts.com.
