Hi guys,
When I trade US Stocks, I can specify any number of shares to buy, such as 100, 23, or even 8. But for Hong Kong Stocks, they require a minimum trading units, ie, Lot Size. For example, the Lot Size of HSBC (0005-HKG/ 0005.HK) is 400 shares. So if you want to buy HSBC shares, you must buy minimum 400 shares or its multiple, 800, 1200 and etc.
Each stock has its own Lot Size, HSBC is 400, Tencent is 100, China Mobile is 500, ICBC is 1000, some other is 200,2000 or even 5000, and etc.
I want to do a portfolio back-test on a basket of some 1000 Hong Kong Stocks and don't know how to specify the Lot Size for each stocks. Please Help.

Re: Portfolio Trader / Lot Size in Stock Trading
Hello LMC1,
In MultiCharts there is no way to set the lot size. Fixed Trade Size can be specified in Strategy Properties -> Trade size.
It has to be done from the script for each stock.
Please check the keywords like GetSymbolName, and SymbolName
