Hello,
I've successfully mapped a full US equities and US indices database into Quote Manager using the mapping feature. However, 3 DJ symbols refuse to be mapped.
The data is daily values and has the same fields as the rest of the database. But the default Resolution fields shown in QM these symbols are n/a and blank. If I try to change those fields to 1 day I receive this error "The file $DJI.csv can't be recognized as 1 bars."
I noticed that the 3 affected files are much larger than most, perhaps that is why; that there is a limit on how many daily bars can be read?
Any ideas what this could mean and how I can resolved? I've attached the csv file here if that helps.

When you import the ascii data, try changing the first field from "Unchanged Ticks" to "Date" using the yyyymmdd format and then set the resolution to 1 Day.

What do you mean by "Unchanged Ticks" as I don't see that option anywhere. This is what I see:
Note, that I am mapping ASCII not importing static ASCII.

MultiCharts has a limitation on the amount of data that can be imported / plotted.
Daily bars can be read since January 2, 1900. Your file, on the other hand, has data starting from 1896.
To be able to map your ASCII file, please remove the data before January 2, 1900.

Ah yep, that's what it was, thanks Tammy. Removing the old data fixed it, thanks for clarifying the date limitation.
