I upgraded to a new computer with Vista Ult. Installed everything new and installed the beta 5 version.
Now I cannot chart the QM and CL futures anymore.
The quotes are received in QM .
I notice that the naming from IB is not as usual
The januari 09 contract is normally named" USD jan09 QM Futures QMF9 " however in the energy complex where there are monthly expirations IB now names the contract "USD dec08 QM Futures QMF9 "
So instead of the Contract month jan09 IB now takes dec08 the actual expiration date.
Since everything else works OK I suppose this has something to do with this deviation in contractnames.
regards
Cees
No charting of QM and CL contracts from IB possible

It takes a long to resolve this problem to me too..
This is the solution:
You have to open QuoteManager in Multicharts
Select Nymex on the left and then open-double click on CL contract you want to fix
For example open-double click-or properties on CLF9
Now change the Contract Month from december to January..(you have to change the wrong contract month and set the exact..for CLF9 is January)
I hope it is usefull..

Hi guys,
For some reasons, IB does, indeed, provide wrong expiration dates for some of the symbols. Furthermore, this problem, obviously appears on certain account types. For example, the expiration months were perfectly correct when added from the symbol list coming from IB's demo account. Maybe this is something to ask them about.
Regards.
