Remember, to receive real-time data through OwnData 3, you need a subscription from a compatible data vendor. For more information please review the list of supported data sources.

Hardware Dongle

One of the key innovations over older versions is the introduction of a new security measure – USB hardware dongle. You will need to insert the dongle into an available and functional USB port, and keep it plugged in as long as you work with OwnData 3. If you remove the dongle, OwnData 3 will no longer work, until you re-insert the dongle. If you misplace the dongle, you will need to order a replacement, and you will not be able to use the software until you receive it.
