Description

Hi,

Could you add a facility to specify the horizontal grid line spacing.
I.e. in the futures market, I like to have the grid line set to 5 points.
This gives me a better visual feed back of the Bar sizes.
I realize that the auto scale to fit the chart onto the screen may be affected.

What some of the other applications do is
1) Allow the scale increments as per above.
2) Allow the spacing of the lines to be fixed. Ie the horizontal lines are always 100 pixels apart.
3) Center the screens price action based on the last price ie the close of the current bar is always half way up the screen.
I can do the above in other applications but I'm trying to make Multicharts my main application.

What all of the above gives the user, is a true sense for the markets volatility. Otherwise, sometimes the bars look huge and fill the whole screen but point value wise they are quite small. You go, wow what a move, then look on the Y scale and see it only went ten points :-(

Neil.
