Description

It would be nice when the Trading Technologies X-Trader-Pro-API can be used. Currently TT Fix is as Trading Technologies Gateway in MC supported.

The advantages:
- TT Fix and X-Trader-Pro costs the same per month (which is really not cheap).
- When the API would be supported similiar to TT Fix driver the trader can use Multicharts with automated trading and can use the X-Trader-features (e.g. ADL, Spread-Trader, etc). X-Trader has some features which can not be done well in MC (as the Spread-Trader), that's why a combination of both would be good. This cannot be done with TT Fix as it is currently implemented.

Of course it is nice to access the TT-network by Fix but traders who are using X-Trader would not use MC to avoid using 2 expensive frontends. When I would have the chance I would decide to use X-Trader Pro API instead of TT Fix.

You can use the RTD function in X_Trader to export the real time price data into Excel and then use the Multicharts DDE to read from the Excel file. Orders etc would not show up in Multicharts, but it does allow you to use X_Trader as the data feed.

Thx, but the idea is to use MC as automated order-generator plus trading from X-Trader-Pro. When only a data-feed is needed for MC then TT would be oversized.
