Description

When using a multi charts / multiple time frame workspace setup it would have been great to have the option to choose in Format setup properties to apply drawing tools to all linked charts with same instrument in a workspace. This would reduce workload considerabely.
Another useful feature in addition to "all charts" would to have the option to choose with a check box in the same tab to lock the tools when applied.

Steps to reproduce this issue

When I work with horizontal lines and Fibonacci on a chart and finally are satisfied with where I have set it, it would have been nice to have the "Add to linked charts" feature in the right click menu for the drawing tool.
Additionally in the drawing tools Format -> Properties tab it would have been nice to choose with a check box if the drawing tool should be added to linked charts as Locked or not.

Hi,
I feel a more flexible option might be to be able to copy and paste drawing objects between charts.
Actualy it would be nice to have both the feature requested here and copy and paste. In any case if this is implemented it should be in the drawing objects properties. Some objects I would not want replicated.

When selecting to display an object on all charts of the same instrument, it would be convenient to choose between "All" or "Smaller time frame". For example, if we draw a trendline in a daily chart, it has some sense to display it on a 30 min chart. Displaying it on a weekly chart is more disturbing than useful.
Regards.

Good points Fabrice. And at Nick, to have the ability to copy and paste between charts would also have been really great.

@Nick. I mean having the ability to copy and paste would open up to some fast and really flexible chart analysis.
Cheers

Please don't misunderstand my previous comment. I was acctually referring to my own post before that. I vote for Nick's copy and paste between the charts suggestion.
Cheers : )

I see this has been postponed for quite some time now. Could you please now add this feature to the new coming version 9.0?
I believe that I am right if I say that many of us is missing this feature. As mentioned before; If you've made several drawings on a chart, it can be a really huge job to manually replicate them to other time frames, especially when erasing old ones and making new ones every day.
My suggestion would be that we had a right click menu item that for example said "Replicate to Linked" -> "Lower Time Frames", "Higher Time Frames", and the third last "All Time Frames". This would be awesome.

To elaborate on my previous comment my idea is when drawing tools are replicated from one chart to other linked charts, they are not copied. Rather they are mirror images from the original chart. In the Format Objects window there should be one more column named "Replicate to...". The values for this column are "Lower Time Frames", "Higher Time Frames", "All Time Frames", or "None". By removing the chart where a drawing tool is originally created the mirror images disappear from the linked charts. In my personal opinion I think this is the best solution and would make MultiCharts one of the best platforms for discretionary trading without doubt.

We need this feature as soon as possible.

I agree with Laurentius' below comment:
