Description

Please compare both charts attached.
Which one it's easier to read? Less stressful to the eyes?
Both show identical studies.
The ability to create transparency options for studies, allowing us to create different coloring "channels" facilitate the chart reading when dealing with too many lines/trendlines.
In one of my charts I have 22 different lines, given by 3 studies.
8 of those lines could be removed by creating channels/bands since they report VWAP, yesterday's high and low, today's initial balance and today's open swing.
This is clearly seen on the attached images. By creating background transparencies we're able to "clean" a chart, making it more readable.
This is urgently needed.

i think all colors in the system particularly PLOTs should allow a transparency level (i hate to refer to the jerks, but TS implemented this a few yrs ago).

if not a transparency level, then at least implement a color called TRANSPARENT (TS also did this) - as it is now, i use color = black and i can see that crossing through other plots.

These charts aren't really very good examples at all of what I believe the user is requesting.

Basis another request I made which was claimed as duplicated, has also been misinterpreted by MC staff, which seems to be starting to come a common problem. And it snot because issues aren't getting explained properly. Anyway, here is a copy of the request I had previously made:

Could you please introduce the same facility Tradestation has where we can change the transparency/opacity on any indicator line. So instead of having solid lines all across the page, we can tone down less important lines, thereby reducing clutter on the screen. At a setting of 100% it would be shown as the default setting. At 50% it would be half the intensity. And at 0% it would become invisible. The setting would likely be placed under the Format/Style Tab.

A secondary issue or request, is the ability to easily plot shading between lines, such as 2 moving averages etc. Where we can also change the opacity levels of that shading. This facility is available in software like NT.

Please include transparency/alpha blend on the price series bars as well, it is helpful when using multiple timeframes to plot two timeframes on a single sub-chart with one of the price series plots being fairly transparent so that you can see what the higher/lower timeframe is doing. Thanks in advance.
