Scanner "Off" Switch

I use the scanner to screen a list of approximately 600 stocks. When I open it, it immediately starts scanning. What I would like to see is a feature that allows me to switch the scanner to default to "Off" when the workspace opens. I want it to scan on my schedule, not when it opens. Because when I open the workspace and it starts scanning 600 stocks, other processes tend to temporarily freeze or slow down (and I have a pretty beefy workstation). This includes critical things, like Portfolio Trader in Auto Trade mode.

So what I am looking for is a switch somewhere in the settings that I could toggle to "Off", so that the scanner does not automatically default to Scan mode when the workspace is opened. Thanks.
