Description

This is a critical missing feature to me. To have such a nice charting program without this feature boggles the mind.
We need to be able to define keyboard shortcuts (F-keys, etc) for the drawing tools (trend lines, text, chart markers etc) so we can easily add them to non-docked charts that are Focused.
All of my charts are undocked, my main MultiCharts window is minimized, having to unminimize it, click on the toolbar for drawing, and then go back to the window I was on before is a major inefficient pain.

When considering implementing keyboard hot keys and shortcuts please consider system wide customizable keys.
Please consider compatibility with third party customizable keyboard solutions which can greatly increase productivity and possibly increase the value of Multicharts. One of the examples of such products is:

My preference is the ability to assign a function (any menu item for example) to a key sequence.  Obviously, there would be a limited number of key sequences made available for customization, but this would allow the user the ability to set the function he or she uses most. For example: i never want to reload all data. I'd love to set ctl + R to execute reload 1 week.
