Description
  • The possibility to trade stocks, CFDs, options at a good European broker (not only futures and forex...). Ex: IG Markets/Boursorama/Saxobank. Actually Americans brokers are supported but not nice ones in Europe :'(

I think it would be helpful just to expose an API through which programmers can interact with Multicharts and write their own broker connectors.

I'm expecting whenever an API for IG Markets is done it works for all locations where IG Markets is located, not just in Europe. Australia is one location where IG Markets is very popular. I've been a user of them for many years.

I know the last comment was only a couple of weeks ago but just adding to the comments that implementing Saxobank as a datafeed is definitely needed.

Quick question: What sort of rough timeframe does it take to decide whether MC will confirm or decline these feature request?

I have written my own API in Python with a bridge written in PL to communicate with the API to create orders, cover them and check their status. At the moment that's I all I need but it would be nice for MC to offer a complete and native solution. IG Markets offer a solution for their clients to automate their trades using the old MT4 platform. They did so a few years ago due to the high demand by their clients for an automated trading solution. If they had the choice of using MC instead, which is a far superior product to the MT4 platform (not sure about MT5) I am pretty sure many would switch over to MC.

It appears this feature request is for three different systems/brokers. How do we know which one is the most popular one for users? IG Markets is my preference.

Saxo Group data and broker connectivity is available since MultiCharts 12.0 Release 9 builds 19395 (x32) / 19396 (x64).

Now that support for Saxo Markets is made available it is hoped that the same support can be afforded to IG Markets especially since the methods of integrations apparently are almost identical. Please see https://labs.ig.com/

I request as well the connection IG Markets, because IG is the #1 in the world for CFD, it is 180 000 customers in
the world (and growing) and IG have offices all around the world. (Australia, UK, Germany, France, Spain, USA, Italia, Sweden, Luxembourg, Portugal, Suisse, ect , etc ....)

A lot of customer need this improvement.

In summary, IG is udge, this would be a udge improvement and it will attract a lot of IG customer to Multicharts !!!

IG markets connection will be beneficial to Multicharts

I have IG marckets account and for me shoud be a good news if multichars will have a plugin for IG Market
I would vote for this development , by I did not find the way to vote...
