Incorrect file extension for Portfolio Performance Reports

Go to the next issue (open or closed)
Go to the next open issue

When you save a Portfolio Performance Report, the Portfolio Backtester will save the PPR as a Microsoft Excel file, specifically using the ".xls" extension. However, Excel 2007 and Excel 2010 use a different etension for their native files, namely ".xlsx."
If you try to open such a file using Excel 2007 or Excel 2010, Excel will give you an error message stating that the file extension is incorrect: "The file you are trying to open, 'Portfolio Perfoamnce Report.xls', is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now? [OK] [Cancel]."
If you then click the "OK" button, the file opens fine. However, this problem also causes some other quirky/buggy behavior in Excel.
This same problem also occurs when saving a Strategy Performance Report using Multicharts.
I can fix this manually simply by changing the file extension to ".xlsx." However, it would be better if Multicharts could save files by default using the ".xlsx" filename, at least for machines that have Excel 2007 or higher installed.

Steps to reproduce this issue
  1.  Backtest a straegy using the Portfolio Backtester on a machine that is running Excel 2007 or Excel 2010.
  2.  Save the Portfolio Performance Report by clicking the "save" icon.
  3.  Double-click on the resulting file in Windows to open it in Excel.
  4.  Excel will give the error message above.
