Description

Using Powerlanguage we need the ability to set the number of shares/contracts that will be displayed on level 2/3 screens when an order is entered.
For example, if you would like to buy 100 contracts but only want to show 10 contracts you would say something like "setshowonly(10)" which means that any order size you enter will only display 10 contracts on the level 2/3 screens.
If your bid is the only one there, it is likely you do not want to show the entire quantity you are looking to purchase.
This functionality is available in Tradestation easylanguage using "setshowonly(quantity)".
Using the Rithmic platform, and I'm sure many others, you can set the max quantity to show.
Thank you
