At MultiCharts we are committed to helping traders learn and grow by inviting industry experts to present at webinars. Different presentations cover trading methods, trading ideas, and our MultiCharts trading software. Everyone from new traders to experts can learn something new.
This week we have two (2) up-coming webinars:
Tuesday, 21st of May 2013 – Adapt to the Markets with the Attractor/Repulsor Coefficient with Erik Long, Quant Trade
Most traders that have been active for any length of time know how important it is to adapt to current market conditions.
While this is easy to say, it is much more difficult to do. Statistical indicators and previous chart patterns provide some idea of what may happen, but it is much more important to know, “what is happening.”
Join Erik Long for this online event as he does just that demonstrating how he converted the Quant Trade Attractor/Repulsor Coefficient (ARC) indicator into an adaptive buy/sell oscillator.
Originally developed for measuring when one instrument is leading another, the ARC has been modified to measure price action against a single market’s mean. This oscillator actually locks on to price when it is repulsing away from the mean of a market and releases the price when price action begins to attract back to the mean.
By using this as a buy and sell trigger, traders can enter into trades that are based on current market action and not lagging effects. Other examples will include using this concept with multiple markets in a form of statistical arbitrage.
Friday, 24th of May 2013 – MultiCharts webinar with Alexey Krishtop
There are many ways to design trading systems, and the amount of information on this exciting subject is literally tremendous. However as we all know only a small percent of traders are consistent winners, even among those in line with systematic approach. What could be the ideas that lie in the foundation of a really robust trading strategy? What are the key metrics that allow to say if a strategy is worth trading live? What are the factors that may affect the future performance of the strategy? Alex Krishtop of Edgesense Solutions is going to outline a complete methodology used by him to develop institutional-grade automated trading systems that work consistently for years without any adjustments.
